Speculation about when Kenny Omega will be making his return to AEW television

AEW star Kenny Omega has been dealing with diverticulitis over the past several months. Omega reportedly underwent surgery in May to aid in his recovery.

In an update on Omega’s status, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…

“He’s getting better, I know that. He’s been in the gym. He is coming back, that’s pretty much the word. I don’t think it’s like months and months away. Just the vibe I have is it’ll be before the end of the year.”

Kota Ibushi, who has been aligned with Omega in the past, teased a reunion of their Golden Lovers tag team when asked on Twitter/X if he was done with AEW…
