WWE has reportedly made an “excellent offer” to keep Chad Gable with the company

It was reported last week that Chad Gable’s WWE contract will be expiring this month. Fightful.com later reported that Gable’s deal is believed to be expiring after today.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, WWE made an “excellent offer” to keep Gable. However, there is no confirmation yet that Gable has signed a new WWE contract. Meltzer noted the following in regards to reports that AEW is interested in signing Gable…

“AEW is not allowed legally to make an offer until his WWE deal expires. He does have key people in AEW pushing him to Tony Khan. Gable would have to allow his contract to expire to get an offer.”

As seen during the June 3rd 2024 edition of WWE RAW, a match was set up between Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn and Chad Gable for the 2024 Clash at the Castle PLE. Gable’s segment with Sami Zayn and Alpha Academy from RAW was the show’s highest quarter hour with 1,890,000 viewers and a 0.60 rating in P18-49.
