* Moxley was wearing the MOX vest that he wore during the first AEW Double or Nothing event in 2019. Moxley’s arm was bandaged up and Takeshita immediately targeted it. Takeshita taunted fans and Moxley took advantage. However, Moxley’s momentum was short-lived when Takeshita slammed Moxley’s arm onto the apron. Takeshita sent Moxley arm-first into the apron and the referee checked on Moxley.

* Takeshita continued to deliver offense but Moxley dared Takeshita to keep hitting him. Moxley made a comeback and delivered a cutter to Takeshita. Takeshita quickly regained the upper and kept going after Moxley’s bad arm.

* Takeshita went for a knee strike but Moxley countered with a paradigm shift. The two traded shots and Moxley was knocked down. Takeshita hit his knee strike but Moxley kicked out. Takeshita hit Moxley with a death rider but Moxley kicked out again.
