News regarding which cities have been considered as front-runners to host WWE Wrestlemania besides Las Vegas

As previously noted, WWE officially announced that Wrestlemania 41 will be taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV on April 19th & 20th 2025. Minneapolis, MN had been rumored to host the event.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that prior to the Endeavor merger, WWE had been looking at New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Orlando as the front-runners to host Wrestlemania. It’s believed that New Orleans and Orlando are not guaranteed locks going forward. WWE is said to be “extremely receptive” to the idea of a future Wrestlemania in London if the right financial offer is made.

“Minneapolis stepped in and made a major bid, which was looking extremely likely before the Endeavor acquisition, at which point the ownership wanted Las Vegas, feeling it was a more prestigious market, especially given the strong relationship their UFC side has had over the years with Sin City.”
