News regarding WWE’s creative plans for Bron Breakker following his NXT tag team title win

As seen during the February 13th 2024 edition of WWE NXT, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker defeated The Family (Tony D’Angelo and Stacks) to win the tag team titles. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that despite Corbin and Breakker winning the titles, WWE is not slowing down on transitioning Breakker to the main roster. The belief is that Breakker will finish his NXT storyline and then make a full-time move to the main roster. Click here for NXT spoilers for next week’s show that involve Breakker.

Breakker interacted with both Triple H and Paul Heyman in a backstage segment on the February 9th 2024 edition of Smackdown. Meltzer wrote the following regarding Breakker potentially being a future opponent for Roman Reigns…

“It’s been noted with Heyman showing up in the Breakker segment on Smackdown and Breakker doing the ‘Best spear in the business’ T-shirt and gimmick that this could be a subtle start for a program way down the line. Obviously Reigns has programs set up for Rock and [Solo] Sikoa as well and he only does a few matches per year.”
