Roman Reigns’ match for the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble PLE officially confirmed

A triple threat match took place during the January 5th 2024 “New Year’s Revolution” edition of WWE Smackdown between Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles with the winner challenging Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE Universal title at the 2024 Royal Rumble PLE.

However, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline hijacked the match before a winner could be determined. Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis then told Paul Heyman that because of the attack, a fatal four-way match will now take place at the Rumble.
