Video: Change made to the 2023 WWE NXT Deadline PLE card due to injury

During the December 5th 2023 edition of WWE NXT, Wes Lee announced that he will be unable to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the North American title at this Saturday’s Deadline PLE. An emotional Lee revealed that he will be out of action indefinitely as he needs surgery due to the lack of feeling in his legs. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the injury is legitimate and not part of a storyline.

Lee then revealed that Dragon Lee will be Dominik’s new opponent for the PLE.
