Becky Lynch loses the WWE NXT women’s title during 2023 Halloween Havoc special

In the main event of WWE NXT’s 2023 Halloween Havoc special on October 24th, Becky Lynch defended the NXT women’s title against Lyra Valkyria. It was a competitive match and towards the end, Becky hit the Manhandle slam but Lyra kicked out. Lyra was able to counter another Manhandle slam attempt and pinned Becky to capture the title.

After the match, Becky gave Lyra the title and the two hugged. Jade Cargill was shown watching in the building during the match and afterwards.
