Adam Cole reportedly went to a hospital following MJF’s match with Samoa Joe on AEW Dynamite

As seen during the September 20th 2023 “Grand Slam” edition of AEW Dynamite, MJF successfully defended his world title against Samoa Joe. Towards the end of the match, Joe had MJF in the coquina clutch and Adam Cole came down to ringside to motivate MJF. However, Cole appeared to hurt himself while jumping off the ramp to the floor and was immediately seen limping.

Both Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that Cole went to a local hospital after the show. Shortly after midnight, Sapp noted that Cole left the hospital and was on crutches.

According to Dave Meltzer, there were plans for MJF and Cole to defend their ROH tag team titles against The Righteous at the WrestleDream PPV. At this time, it’s unknown how bad Cole’s injury is and if he’ll be able to wrestle at the show.
