AEW wrestler that had prior confrontation with CM Punk reportedly sent home from Collision

According to Fightful Select, AEW wrestler Ryan Nemeth was sent home from the August 12th 2023 edition of AEW Collision shortly after arriving in Greensboro, NC. Nemeth was reportedly told by a coach that he wasn’t needed and a flight was booked for him to return home.

Fightful noted that Nemeth, who is a regular on Being The Elite, had words earlier this summer with CM Punk. Fightful stated the following…

“Specifically, Punk took exception to Nemeth’s ‘Literally the softest man alive’ … tweet that followed Punk’s return promo. We haven’t heard how things went outside of Nemeth explaining himself, and that it didn’t end in anything physical.”

Fightful confirmed an earlier report that Punk’s shot at Adam Page after Collision was not part of a storyline.
