Results of Toni Storm vs. Willow Nightingale at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2023

Toni Storm (c) vs. Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship took place at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2023. Here are the highlights…

* Saraya and Ruby Soho were at ringside for the match.

* Willow had the early momentum and Toni slipped to the outside. Willow went outside but was confronted by The Outcasts and she ended up attacking them. However, Toni took advantage and delivered a hip attack to Willow. The Outcasts stomped Willow while the referee was distracted.

* Toni worked over Willow for several minutes but then both were on the apron and Willow dropped Toni on the apron with a Death Valley Driver. Willow hit another one in the ring but Toni kicked out.

* The Outcasts rolled a can of spray paint in the ring but the referee kicked out of the ringside area. Willow missed a moonsault and Toni regained control. Toni went for another hip attack but Willow countered with a pounce. Willow was on the verge of winning when Toni pulled the referee in front of her. Toni then gouged the eyes of Willow and won the match with Storm Zero.
