Update on former WWE star that returned to AEW during Rampage taping (spoiler)

As previously noted, matches for the June 23d 2023 edition of AEW Rampage were taped on Wednesday night after Dynamite. Click here for complete spoilers.

During the event, WWE star John Morrison (John Hennigan) made his return to AEW. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following regarding Hennigan’s future…

“While nothing has been officially announced, the belief among those backstage was that he has signed with the promotion. We have also heard he will be utilizing the name Johnny Television (possibly Johnny TV) for the company.”

Hennigan made a few appearances for AEW in 2022 with his last one being on June 1st 2022. Hennigan is married to AEW star Taya Valkyrie.
