Angle with Seth Rollins and Finn Balor takes place at the end of WWE NXT episode

As seen during the June 20th 2023 edition of WWE NXT, Seth Rollins successfully defended his world heavyweight title against Bron Breakker. Rollins had his ribs taped up during the match due to the attack by Finn Balor on the June 19th edition of RAW.

After the match, Balor made a surprise appearance when he attacked Rollins. Balor used a steel chair and targeted the ribs of Rollins until NXT champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams made the save.
