Video: Tony Khan officially announces CM Punk’s return to AEW for the debut of Collision
During the May 31st 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite, President Tony Khan announced/confirmed that CM Punk will be returning for the debut of Collision as a “featured” star. There was a noticeable mixed crowd reaction with chants for Punk but also boos.
AEW is now officially advertising Punk for Collision’s first broadcast at the United Center in Chicago on June 17th 2023. Twitter account @WrestleTix noted that 6,921 were distributed for Collision in Chicago as of Wednesday morning.
