Results of the world heavyweight title tournament matches from the 5/12/23 edition of WWE Smackdown
During the May 12th 2023 edition of WWE Smackdown, two triple threat matches took place in the RAW world heavyweight title tournament. In the first match, AJ Styles defeated Edge and Rey Mysterio to advance when he pinned Edge with the phenomenal forearm.

In the second match, Bobby Lashley defeated Austin Theory and Sheamus to advance when he pinned Theory. Lashley was busted open during the match.

In the show’s main event, Styles defeated Lashley with the phenomenal forearm. Styles will face Seth Rollins for the title at Night of Champions.
