Results of Smackdown Tag Team Titles match at Wrestlemania Backlash 2021

Tag team match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship

* During the Kickoff show, Roode and Ziggler attacked Dominik in the backstage area and then tipped over a couch onto him. Later on in the trainer’s room, it was determined that Dominik could not compete.

* Rey went to the ring by himself for the match. Rey held his own for a while but the numbers game caught up with him. Roode and Ziggler went after the leg of Mysterio.

* Roode and Ziggler continued to double team Rey. Rey barely managed to avoid being counted out. Rey was able to make a comeback and then Dominik made his way down to the ring.

* Ziggler hit the Zig Zag but Rey kicked out. After several minutes, Rey finally hit a super bulldog to Roode off the top and tagged in Dominik. Dominik was quickly overwhelmed and double teamed by Roode/Ziggler. Roode trash talked at Dominik but Dominik managed to intercept Ziggler’s superkick attempt.

* Rey tagged back but Roode momentarily stopped Rey’s momentum. Rey recovered and hit the 619 to Roode. Rey tagged in Dominik and Dominik pinned Roode with a frogsplash to win the tag team titles.

* Rey and Dominik cut a brief post-match promo and hugged.
