Zelina Vega reportedly making a return to WWE
It is being reported by Fightful.com that former WWE star Zelina Vega was spotted at the Performance Center and the site noted the following…
“We were told it wasn’t just a visit, as she was being filmed for some reason there.”
The site also noted that there is apparently a “working plan” for Vega to return to the company. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com confirmed that Fightful’s report is accurate.
Vega was fired by WWE in November of 2020 after she opposed WWE’s ban on the usage of third-party services such as Twitch and Cameo. Vega continued producing content on her Twitch channel and launched an OnlyFans account which WWE considered to be a breach of contract.
Vega later went on Twitch and talked about her departure form the company:
“I’m sad and I’m completely heartbroken. Obviously, this isn’t the last that you are gonna see of me…I love you all though and I’m really really thankful to every single one of you. If I go down as someone who stood up for themselves, so be it. I’m still thankful, I’m not angry. I’m just heartbroken because doing this, being a wrestler is all I ever wanted to do. I don’t really know what to say, there’s so many things I want to say but I don’t know how.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
WWE recently started airing vignettes to hype up the return of Vega’s husband Aleister Black.
