Jimmy Uso makes his return during May 7th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown

The May 7th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown opened with a Roman Reigns promo segment. Reigns announced that Daniel Bryan was being replaced by someone who would acknowledge him and that was Jimmy Uso. There was a reunion with Jimmy and Jey before Cesaro interrupted. Jimmy and Jey were at ringside for Cesaro’s match against Seth Rollins.

At the end of the match, Rollins told Jey that he didn’t want help. Rollins ended up pushing Jey down which led to Jimmy hitting Rollins with a superkick. Cesaro took out Jimmy with a dive and then pinned Rollins with the neutralizer. Due to his win, Cesaro will challenge Reigns for the Universal Title at Wrestlemania Backlash.

Jimmy had been out of action for over a year due to a torn ACL injury.
