CM Punk makes his return during the August 10th 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite

In the main event of AEW Dynamite on August 10th 2022, AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley defeated Chris Jericho to retain his title. Moxley was attacked by the Jericho Appreciation Society after the match but then World Champion CM Punk returned from injury to make the save. CM Punk had a stare down with Moxley and Moxley flipped off CM Punk before leaving the ring.
