Mickie James teases her retirement from the wrestling business
Earlier this week, former Impact Wrestling Knockouts champion Mickie James was asked on Twitter about possibly being part of the WWE women’s tag team title tournament. Mickie responded with “no” and wrote that she feels like she is “done in wrestling.”
Another fan wrote that Mickie is “too good of a wrestler to retire” but respects her decision. Here was Mickie’s response…
“I appreciate you. Honestly, I’ve been so blessed & love my fans so much! I wouldn’t have had all this without you. What is left for me to prove anymore? What else can I do? I’d rather bow out screaming ‘Women’s Wrestling Matters’ from the top of the mountain than the valley.”
