Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory for the United States title took place at WWE Summerslam 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Theory attacked Lashley from behind with the Money in the Bank briefcase before the match started. Lashley insisted on the match being started. The crowd started a “who’s your daddy” chant as Theory worked over Lashley.

* Lashley turned the tide and Theory tried to leave the ring with the briefcase but Lashley stopped him.

* Back in the ring, the two traded blows and Lashley got the best of Theory. Lashley went for a spear but Theory did a leapfrog and Lashley hit the ring post.

* Theory tried to finish off Lashley but Lashley caught Theory in the hurt lock and won by submission.
