WWE reportedly changed plans for Big E due to Roman Reigns testing positive for Covid-19
The @WWEonFOX Twitter account published a graphic of the results from the WWE Day 1 premium live event. However, it was quickly deleted after fans pointed out that Big E was listed as the winner of the WWE Title match. The graphic had a picture of Brock Lesnar but with the caption “Big E Def. Lashley, Rollins and Owens” with no mention of Lesnar.
Lesnar was added to the WWE Title match at the last minute due to Roman Reigns testing positive for Covid-19. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com commented on the matter…
“Going into this show, Big E was coming out the Champion. And so Big E losing the title was a direct result of Roman getting COVID and having to scramble to come up with a new idea.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
