Latest regarding the status of the WWE Day 1 PPV card
As previously noted, it was announced that several WWE stars were pulled from the live events in New York City and Tampa on December 26th 2021 due to the “effects of Covid-19.”
Twitter account @WrestleVotes wrote the following about the WWE Day 1 PPV event…
“Regarding the availability of talent for this weekends Day 1 PPV, source told me this morning that if the show was tonight, multiple matches would have to be changed. Good thing the event isn’t until Saturday & WWE is hopeful they can keep the card as is. All fluid at this time.”
When the Covid-19 story broke last week, it was noted that WWE officials were hoping key wrestlers would be cleared in time for the PPV when considering the quarantine time is around 7 to 10 days.
