Drake Maverick posts video following his release from WWE and John Cena responds
As previously noted, WWE released eight main roster wrestlers on November 18th 2021 including John Morrison and Hit Row.
Drake Maverick was one of the eight releases and he quickly posted a video on Twitter following the news of his departure. In the video, a motivated Maverick tells a deflated Maverick that his dream was to be a professional wrestler rather than a “WWE superstar” and he can’t be fired from being a wrestler as promoters will book him.
John Cena commented on the video…
“This is worth a watch. Very well done and very powerful message by a gifted performer.”
My immediate thoughts…#wwe @wwe #nxt @wwenxt #thankyou pic.twitter.com/jMtv5X50KQ
