Kyle O’Reilly could be done with WWE by the end of 2021
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Kyle O’Reilly’s WWE contract is set to expire next month and there has been internal talk about his future with the company. Johnson wrote that “O’Reilly is currently listed internally as the number two babyface for the NXT brand, behind Tommaso Ciampa.”
During a recent interview with PWInsider, O’Reilly’s former partner Bobby Fish said the following about possible tag partners in AEW…
“There’s a certain dance partner who most people would equate me to, and it would be difficult to think of myself in a tag scenario long-term and not see that dance partner. So there’s nobody in particular, but I mean I’d be up for a tag situation whatever is required of me. Like I’m just enjoying all of this and everything that AEW brings and the opportunities just keep presenting themselves and I got to thank Tony Khan for that. And I hope that they just keep coming. Whatever they are like, I’m ready to roll.”
For what it’s worth, O’Reilly was recently removed from the NXT 2.0 banner on WWE’s website and replaced with Bron Breakker.
