It’s what we called the White Rabbit Project. There were interactive games, there were different misleads. We had one puzzle that was coordinated to a record store in Corbin, Kentucky that was White Rabbit Records. It happened to be that the people at the store played along. Our fans would call and ask, ‘What’s going on? Is someone returning? What’s happening at WWE?’ They would use some of the language we were using in the campaign and then hang up the phone. One of the codes drove us to a date, and that date happened to be the SmackDown that was happening. It looked like it could be a date or a time code, September 23 or 9:23. At 9:23, we saw viewership increase 20% over that time period. It’s strategies like that, that work because the audience is different and they’re growing and evolving. Some people want to have a lean-back experience, and that’s great, but a lot of people want to engage deeply and have fun and have misleads and misdirections. During the October 7th 2022 edition of Smackdown, Triple H introduced the show and there was a QR code on his microphone. The QR code leads to wwe.com/10822 which is the date for Extreme Rules. In the video, there are clips of “The Three Little Pigs” with Bray Wyatt’s “Let me in” phrase being said repeatedly. The video also contains a frame of the Firefly House’s Husky The Pig.

During the October 3rd edition of WWE RAW, yet another QR code was shown which directed fans to wwe.com/01000111_01000001_01000011_01011001.

As Josh Mansfield pointed out, a painting was shown of Delilah cutting Samson’s hair (his strength) from the Book of Judges. It was possibly a reference to Alexa Bliss betraying The Fiend at Wrestlemania 37 as Bray Wyatt tweeted a similar painting shortly after the PPV.

Recent “White Rabbit” teasers all point most entirely to Bray Wyatt and his return, and given the clues and how it undoubtedly relates to Bray Wyatt’ in many instances, it seems like a sure thing.

However, there has been some other speculation when the “White Rabbit” first started to appear. Karrion Kross and Aleister Black have both been considered candidates as there are some multiple comparable relations to both.

I can’t help but wonder, what if it’s all three? What if Bray Wyatt has formed a new Wyatt family with Aleister Black and Karrion Kross?

The most recent QR code led to a website with a video. The video featured cartoon images of The Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf with morse code for the phrase “Azazel (demon) Reborn.” In my opinion, the “three little pigs” could be a subtle reference to the three members these teases are eluding too.

It is surmised that these “White Rabbit” teases will conclude at “Extreme Rules”. Karrion Kross has a strap match against Drew McIntyre. We know that Drew will be taking some time off due to an injury. While a clean finish would help elevate Karrion Kross, 2 losses in a row for Drew McIntyre could potentially damage his return post-injury. What if, the New Wyatt Family converge and attack Drew McIntyre to set up Drew’s time off?

Aleister Black has recently requested for release from AEW has been granted, albeit with a clause that he cannot go to WWE. This throws a curve to this theory, but I would never doubt WWE finding a way to make it work.

The latest QR code leading to the teaser, occurred at the very end of Karrion Kross’s promo and while his face was still visible clearly on screen. I have also noticed the hour glass, Kross’s likened “tick tock” prop in one of the teases. (pictured below).

Another QR code was shown during the September 30th 2022 edition of WWE Smackdown. The code leads to a new cryptic video on WWE’s website at the URL wwe.com/1911. The URL is potentially a clue that the White Rabbit is Bray Wyatt since Wyatt once wore a Mad Hatter hat with “19/11” on it during a Firefly Funhouse segment.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that the White Rabbit social media teases have been “very effective” as a marketing ploy so far. According to Meltzer, the White Rabbit merchandise has been “a hot seller” and there is talk that Triple H will be doing more of these types of marketing ploys in the future.

In regards to the high viewership for Smackdown on September 23rd, Meltzer mentioned that the quarter hour with the 9:23 tease went up to 2.767 million viewers with a .70 18-49 demo but there was a drop…

“From those with access to minute-by-minute numbers, there was a big drop starting at about 9:25 p.m., which made it clear a lot of people were there for that time spot tease while others stayed for the rest of the show, perhaps interested or just figuring something was still going to happen, or were just watching wrestling already.”

“We’re told not everyone was sold on the QR aspect of the White Rabbit teases, but those that we’ve spoken with backstage say that it’s been a major success and created even more than the intended buzz for the segment. We’ve learned that WWE creative has been largely hands off with the segments, and most everyone we talked to backstage aren’t sure of the small details that are involved.”

It was added that WWE higher ups are clearly aware of the plans. The current belief is that the White Rabbit reveal will be at Extreme Rules although it’s unknown if the person playing the role will be physically present.

Bray Wyatt is rumored to be behind the cryptic videos.
