Instead, Escobar cut a promo from his car and said that he wasn't going to compete. NXT commissioner William Regal ended up ordering Escobar to show up next week for a match against Kross or be stripped of the Cruiserweight title. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com discussed what happened: “There was a medical reason that I heard yesterday, Tuesday, that the match wasn’t going to take place. It’s not a storyline, it was a storyline out of necessity, and not a planned storyline. The match was supposed to happen on tonight’s show, but it could not.
