- In an interview with, Big E commented on his current singles push in WWE:

"You know, Iíve never had a world title match, a world title opportunity. This would be my very first one, so Iím looking forward to that. I want to see how much I can do as a singles competitor. A lot of people have had these high hopes for me, which I really appreciate."

2021 is off to a great start for WWE Friday Night Smackdown superstar Big E. He's the new Intercontinental Champion, has entered the Royal Rumble, and is looking for more. Big E, once a member of The New Day, has set out on his own after his partners, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, were drafted to Monday Night Raw late last year.
