Kurt Angle explains why he turned down WWE job offer
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 06/02/2020 at 10:28 PM

In an interview with SI.com, Kurt Angle explained why he turned down a recent job offer from WWE:

"WWE offered me a job to manage Matt Riddle; unfortunately, I turned it down. I just have so much going with my business, Physically Fit Nutrition, and I need to make sure it succeeds before I do anything else.

It was almost a blessing in disguise that WWE released me. The business started picking up orders, and weíre at a point where I really need to be here."

Angle also addressed the possibility of one more match:

"Right now, I canít. Could my mind be changed? Yes, for two reasons. Iím working on my business, and Iíve been doing a lot of rehab on my body, trying to get myself back to where Iím able to live a healthy lifestyle. Iíd been so banged upómy neck, my back, and my neckóbut Iím making improvements."
