Former WWE wrestler Sunil Singh says he is “lucky to be alive” after suffering a collapsed lung

Former WWE star Sunil Singh (Gurv Sihra) of the Bollywood Boyz suffered a collapsed lung during a match. He posted the following message on his condition via Twitter/X…

“Lucky to be alive today. Saturday night was one of the most frightening experiences of my life.

While performing in the ring, doing a move I’ve done for years, hospital X-Rays revealed I suffered a collapsed lung on my right side from the impact. The ER doctor said ‘You are very lucky that to be alive. You had angels watching over you.’

Those words still echo through my ears.

In those moments, I was gasping for air and struggling to breathe, not knowing what was happening or how serious it was. When the match finished and I got to the backstage area, I couldn’t get to my feet and was still finding it difficult to breathe. For a moment, it truly felt like I was facing death.

I’ve spent decades doing what I love, stepping into that ring and giving everything I have. Never did I imagine that a move I’ve performed countless times could lead to something so terrifying. I didn’t want to die and the only thing I could think of at the time was ‘How will I take my son to hockey and get onto the ice with him?’

I’m incredibly grateful to be here, and I want to thank everyone at Pure Power Wrestling, the locker room and especially my brother, that helped get the medical team to the venue on time.

I’ll be going for follow up appointments soon and I’m taking things one breath, one day, and one step at a time.

The past 5 years, post WWE, have been some of the most rewarding and hardworking years of my life and I don’t want any of it to go to waste. My brother and I have worked tirelessly to land back on our feet. Thank you everyone for your continued and endless love & support.”

Wrestlers react to video of former WWE star Matt Riddle having a match in parking lot

Over the weekend, former WWE star Matt Riddle worked a street-style match in the middle of a downtown parking lot for Appalachian Championship Wrestling (ACW). Riddle went up against independent wrestler Josh Bishop.

Video footage from the match circulated on Twitter/X. Some fans framed it as a decline for Riddle’s career following his release from WWE.

Wrestlers Matt Cardona and Karl Anderson came to Riddle’s defense. Cardona wrote, “I’ve wrestled in worse places. It’s independent wrestling. Aren’t you supposed to be an educated fan?” Anderson wrote, “This is awesome. Great safe chair shot by Josh. Great safe release style chair shot from Matt. Fans are enjoying and reacting. Both got their fee, along with merch sold at all times. Pro wrestling is thriving World Wide.”

Myron Reed of The Rascalz addresses bump from AEW Collision that received online criticism

As seen during the September 19th 2026 edition of AEW Collision, Darby Allin defeated Myron Reed to retain the TNT Championship. At one point, Reed attempted a dive to the outside but crashed through a chair.

The spot drew criticism on Twitter/X, including from former WCW star Crowbar, who wrote, “Protect your extremely talented investments who can build your company around – don’t be afraid to tell them ‘No’ …..so they’re there for years to come.”

Former WCW star Disco Inferno also commented, “If these kids want to use a platform where people can see them try to cripple themselves, there needs to be a discussion on what you think your audience is, and what you should be doing to entertain them. This isn’t wrestling.”

Reed responded to the criticism, writing, “When you put the pro in professional wrestler I train very hard to do stuff that looks gnarly, safe. No one works harder than the #YUNGGOAT. Also, go watch the entire match, not just the clip. I’m cooking here, stay tuned. ”

Reed’s partner Zachary Wentz defended him, writing, “Myron is incredible. He had an opportunity to match an ex AEW champion, notoriously known to go crazy and did. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him grow from a boy to a man and I couldn’t be more proud. Myron will be a world champion one day. I promise you that.”

Nic Nemeth addresses the status of WWE’s partnership with TNA Wrestling

During an interview with Adrian Hernandez, TNA Wrestling World and Tag Team Champion Nic Nemeth was asked about the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic being announced with tag teams from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, but not TNA. Nemeth was asked if the decision upset him. Here was his response…

“It doesn’t because myself and my brother are comically busy at the moment, but it does as a TNA wrestler, not being the tag champs. Yeah, it does because there’s a relationship there.

We’ve had some moments where we got a lot of NXT people who were brand new, gave them a shot, gave some TV time, got those reps in. It would be nice to see it replicated, but of course, it’s not always the time and place for it.

There were times for months where we were going back and forth all over NXT. Our guys and gals were, and all over TNA NXT guys and gals were, and some people were going to Raw and SmackDown. And it led to Leon Slater getting some cool moments and Joe Hendry getting some cool stuff when he was still with us.

So all of those moments can still happen, and they will when the time is right. It would be great to be represented out there, but also I’m super busy right now, and I am not interested in doing NXT as the world champion and tag team champion.

But down the line, I would love to see more of an interaction if we continue that relationship because it was really fruitful for both sides. I was very impressed with some young up-and-comers getting some reps with us and getting to see our guys.

We, you know, we got to see Cruz Montana showing up on NXT before he showed up at NXT. So, he’s doing, in theory, his own vignette to let that audience know, ‘When you see me next time, I’m gonna be kicking everyone’s ass.’

And that’s why you get that emotion and that reaction, because he got to be over there a few times before that. So, it’s been really positive for us. Hopefully, it’s been as positive for them, and I would like to see more in the future.”

Zoey Stark on her WWE release: “I truly thought I was having a panic attack because I couldn’t breathe”

In a video published to her official YouTube channel, Zoey Stark (Zoey Serrano) discussed her release from WWE. Here is what Zoey had to say…

“So when I got released from WWE, it hit like a ton of bricks. Kind of makes me want to cry now. Mainly because I wasn’t expecting it. I was actually at the gym at EOS, and all day long you’re hearing about releases are happening today. I’m messaging Chelsea Green and I’m messaging Mia. And for whatever reason, I just had this strange feeling, but I was kind of just putting it to the side because I just got cleared from my knee injury, right? So, I wasn’t really expecting it.

So, when I got the phone call, there were multiple things running through my mind. My first thought was obviously, ‘This really sucks. I am heartbroken.’ My body started to shake.

Obviously I started crying. I went to the car immediately, and I truly, truly thought I was having a panic attack because, like, I couldn’t breathe, you know? Like, every worst-case scenario was going through my head, and I was having a really hard time.

And then secondly, I felt really bad for the gentleman who had to call me. That’s not an easy day at the office for him. I could hear it in his voice. It really hurt.

It’s one of those things now where, as much as it hurt at that point, where I am at today, I get the opportunity of finding myself again.”

Former WWE wrestler Sanga arrested for alleged sexual exploitation

According to hindustantimes.com, former WWE wrestler Sanga (Saurav Gurjar) was arrested at Mumbai Airport in connection with a sexual exploitation case filed by a 29-year-old woman. He was brought to Hyderabad by Gachibowli Police and remanded to 14 days in judicial custody.

The woman filed a complaint on August 15th, alleging that she and Sanga began a relationship after connecting on Instagram in 2021. She claimed that Sanga told her he was already married but repeatedly promised that they would eventually settle down together. She also alleged that he convinced her to leave her job in the United States to start a business with him in India.

The following was stated in the complaint…

“During the course of our relationship, the accused disclosed that he was already married. He repeatedly promised to give me wife-like rights and eventually settle down with me. He used to block me on the phone/social media and disappear without any prior information. I suffered mental harassment, emotional distress and financial loss, including losing my job after I left my employment in the US to stay with him.”

Gachibowli Police registered a case under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to sexual intercourse through deceptive means, and issued a Look Out Circular for Sanga.

He was detained by immigration officials at Mumbai Airport on September 17th after arriving from the Middle East. Police then brought him to Hyderabad, where he was produced before a magistrate and remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the allegations against Sanga have not been established in court.
