- According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, there is heat from WWE officials on Sami Zayn right now. According to Meltzer, the backstage segment with Zayn talking to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins was purposely designed to "establish Zayn as a total geek."

- Hideo Itami has been cleared to wrestle after recently suffering a neck injury during a match with Riddick Moss. Itami simply said "I am ready" on Twitter in reference to being cleared.

As previously noted, Itami was pulled from the WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic due to the injury. He was set to be out of action for about two months because he didn’t need surgery. Had he needed surgery, he would have been out at least six months.
