As previously reported, WWE World Champion AJ Styles may have suffered an injury in the main event of WWE TLC last night.

Our correspondent that attended the even live said that after the show went off the air, Styles fell down to the mat and a trainer came out to check on him. AJ was seen telling the trainer that something is wrong with his right foot as he was trying to move it around. AJ ended up walking to the back on his own, but he was noticeably limping as fans gave him a standing ovation.

We can now confirm that Styles hurt his ankle during the match. As of this writing it is not clear exactly how the injury will play into his match against James Ellsworth on Tuesday episode of SmackDown Live. It is also unknown if he will be able to compete in the match either. Very few details are known at this time, but we will keep you updated.
