The company changed then their plans and started talking about booking the match at the Royal Rumble instead because they needed a big attraction match for the event, however it looks like those Mania’ plans could be back on. Prior to Bill Goldberg signing with WWE, the company was seeking a big attraction for the Royal Rumble that could help fill the Alamodome, which seats over 60,000 plus people. The company felt that Rollins vs. Triple H could be one of the matches on that card. Now that Bill and Brock Lesnar are both working the 30-man Royal Rumble Battle Royal match, the company is going to hold off on having Triple H return for a match against Rollins. It’s expected that the build for Rollins vs. Triple H will kickoff very soon.
