- ABC Action News out of Tampa, Florida is reporting that the child abuse charges against former WWF superstar B. Brian Blair have been dropped. Blair was arrested on Father's Day and charged with several counts of child abuse after he allegedly punched and choked his two sons, who are 17 and 12 years old.

- "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was released from a Los Angeles county jail this morning at 7:54 a.m. on $5,000 bail.

Piper was held for six hours after being arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Hollywood, California early this morning.

The WWE Hall of Famer is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles court on Thursday, July 23 at 8:30 a.m. to be assessed his penalty for the misdemeanor violation.
