Anderson Silva didn’t hold back when talking about his upcoming title defense with Vitor Belfort. During an interview with Fighters Only Magazine, Silva expressed his discontent of Belfort’s willingness to fight him even though they once were training partners.

When asked of his opinion of Belfort’s arrival in the UFC middleweight division, Silva asked, “Which Vitor is that? The one who trained with me, Rogerio and Rodrigo a few months ago?

“Maybe he will want to fight Rodrigo or Rogerio, even though he is training with them. I think Vitor has to find himself, he is totally lost," he said.

Silva has made it clear that he is unwilling to fight any of his Black House training partners, which include Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida. Even after being prodded by UFC President Dana White to fight Machida, Silva still refuses to face his friend.

"There isn’t that possibility," Silva stated. "I’m Lyoto’s friend, I like him a lot, and I think it’s hard for anyone to beat him. There is no money that will make me fight him. Dana White can forget about that.

“I´m very happy with my belt, I don’t need more belts."

Silva was also recently asked about who would win a fight between he, and the other fighter many consider the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world, Fedor Emelianenko. Silva quickly quipped, "Fedor, he's big."

For now, Silva is gearing up to defend his UFC middleweight title against Belfort, possibly at UFC 108 on January 2, 2010. The event takes place from the the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
