According To The Wrestling Observer, Wanderlei Silva who just turned down a bout with Brandon Vera for UFC Fight Night 14 on July 19th, could return to action in October to face highly touted light heavyweight Thiago Silva.
Wanderlei last fought Keith Jardine at UFC 84: Ill Will, defeating the Team Jackson fighter rather handily by TKO in the first round. On the same card the other Silva won his fight to bring his record to 4-0 in the UFC when he defeated Antonio Mendez by submission from strikes.
Both fighters love to stand and bang so you can expect fireworks if this fight does get signed for the October UFC card.
