The Fight Network has reported that a possible bout between Heavyweight contenders Fabricio Werdum and Brandon Vera is scheduled for June's UFC 85 taking place at the O2 Arena in London, England.
While is was speculated that Werdum would face Interim Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira for the belt that now looks to be on hold.
Werdum is coming off a victory over Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 80 via TKO in the 2nd round. Vera on the other hand, is coming off a loss to Tim Sylvia at UFC 77 in October.
Bout agreements for the fight have not been signed but it appears that this fight will be booked for the UFC 85 card.
