The show started 75 minutes late due to first unexplained reasons (none that were evident from being in the building pre-show), then due to a ring that was discovered to be broken after wrestlers were trying out spots before the show. The show starting late AGAIN didn't help the crowd's mood. The need to fix the ring was understandable, but the show start time was running late before the problem in the ring was discovered. The show opened with the roster coming out and did a Cash tribute, followed by Zandig bringing out his son and grandson (named John Christopher...with the middle name a tribute to Cash) followed by a video to Chri$ Ca$h made by Ruckus since there had been a problem with the Pancoast Productions computer used to create last year's excellent video. Post-Chris Cash tribute, DJ Hyde jumped Zandig and Mana (with short hair) came out and attacked Hyde, setting up a match between Hyde and Mana for later in the night. Chris Cash Scholarship Tag Team Match: George W. Baus and unknown defeated a tag team whose names couldn't be made out on the mike. Baus seems to be a cult favorite among the regulars for some reason. B-Boy defeated Claudio Castagnoli via DQ after Nick Gage attacked Castagnoli. A 3 way was sent up for the evening show with Gage, B-Boy and Castagnoli for the Ironman Title was set up for the evening show. Triple Threat Tag Team Match: Team AnDrew, Andy Sumner and Drew Gulak defeated GQ and Nick Berk and Niles "The Anamoly" Young and Jon Dahmer. Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Battle Royal: LuFisto won in a match that contained Rick Feinberg, Cory Kastle, Beef Wellington and a ton of students. Following the match, Nick Gage nailed LuFisto with a sick looking chokebreaker. Luke defeated Messiah after Adam Flash missed a chair shot and hit Messiah. CZW Junior Heavyweight Title Match: Sonjay Dutt defeated Sexxxy Eddy to win the CZW Junior Heavyweight Title in a match that was well under expectations for these two. Either someone was injured during this match, or they had the bad day of their lives. CZW Junior Heavyweight Title #1 Contenders Match: Jigsaw defeated Hallowicked CZW World Heavyweight Title Match: Eddie Kingston defeated Chris Hero in a excellent match worth the price of admission to become the new CZW World Heavyweight Champion when Ricky Reyes, a new member of BLKOUT interfered to turn Kingston heel (again?). Post-match, Ruckus explained the turn basically as "$@#k ya'll, we swerved you again." THAT seemed to piss off the crowd as they wanted to get a Kingston win as a babyface, not as a heel with BLKOUT. Others were big Hero fans and didn't seem to like the title change. Nonetheless, thius match was worth the price of admission for the afternoon OR night show. Chris Cash Ladder Match: Derek Frazier defeated Ruckus with a 450 onto a pile of chairs and a ladder in a wild match. The major drawback to this match was the preceding match being so off-the-scales good...and that since the show had started late, a visible number of people left the show to get dinner. CZW Expect The Unexpected Cheech and Cloudy defeated Lucky and JC Ryder. CZW Ironman Title #1 Contenders Match: B-Boy defeated Claudio Castagnoli and Nick Gage to become the #1 Contender to the CZW Ironman Title. CZW Ironman Title Match: LuFisto defeated B-Boy to retain the CZW Ironman Title after Nate Webb ran in to cost B-Boy the match. Adam Flash defeated Nate Webb and Beef Wellington, pinning Wellington after Messiah ran-in (noticing a pattern here?) jumped Webb. CZW Junior Heavyweight Title Match: Jigsaw defeated Sonjay Dutt to win the CZW Junior Heavyweight Title, along with a Messiah run-in that got messed up, resulting in an audible called to get to the finish. Mana defeated DJ Hyde in a decent big man match. Ricky Reyes and Justice Pain wrestled to a no contest after a clustrer#@% involving BLK OUT, Zandig and Justice Pain. Maven Bentley went into his commissioner's role from heel manager and inexplicably stripped BLKOUT of their CZW Tag Titles, because Joker and Sabian were no longer with CZW. Um, wasn't Ruckus one of the tag team champions, and wasn't BLKOUT a group ala The Freebirds which was allowed to defend their titles en group? This will apparently set up a Tag Team Tournament next month. Post-match, Hero was announced as injured in his match with Kingston, and that he would not wrestle on the evening show (given the dozens of stiff shots thrown in the afternoon's match, it's certainly believable). More than a few people wondered, though, if CZW is winding up Hero to work ROH dates (Hero and Castagnoli are working tag dates starting this coming weekend in New York, challenging for the ROH Tag Team Titles). If this is true, this isn't going to help the CZW talent pool. In a barbed wire table match, Toby Klein defeated Necro Butcher, Deranged, Danny Havoc and Drake Younger when he pinned Younger after a Death Valley Driver off the top rope onto a set-up chair. JC Bailey no-showed (again, for Japan?) combining the last two matches into a five-way cluster$@#%.
