NoDQ.com > Results > CZW 11/12 ECW Arena results Posted by Bob Magee on 11/13/2005 at 05:50 AM (Courtesy: PWBTS.com...with TNA Genesis results tonight) CZW returned to the ECW Arena last night for "Night of Infamy", the show that sets up the annual Cage of Death supershow Niles Young defeated Nate Webb for the #1 Contendership to the CZW World Jr. Heavyweight Championship. The finish saw Pandora's Brother #1 interfering, allowing Young to hit the NYPD on Nate Webb for the pinfall. Pandora's Brother #2 then came out to join in the beatdown. Then, B-Boy's music hit. As everyone looked toward the entrance for B-Boy to make the save, Pandora's goons unmasked as... B-Boy and Adam Flash. Then the music of Excalibur and Beef Wellington blasted over the speakers, leading to... Adam Flash and B-Boy defeated Excalibur and Beef Wellington Post-match, DJ Hyde and Jon Dahmer came out and made another open challenge to anyone in the back. Danny Havoc and The Necro Butcher (invited in as a partner by Havoc after DJ Hyde boasted that he defeated Havoc twice already at the NEXT student shows and that he'd be happy to do it again....then Necro Butcher's music hit) defeated DJ Hyde and Jon Dahmer. Post-match, Hyde finally turned on Dahmer, after a storyline that's been going for awhile; jumped Dahmer and hit the Shadow Driver on him, leaving him laying. Sabian defeated Heretic Post-match, Maven Bentley came out and told the crowd that Keven Steen hurt his neck in training earlier this week and was unable to defend the title for tonight's show. SeXXXy Eddy was moved into the Jr. Heavyweight title match to make it a 3 way elimination match. Derek Frazier defeated JC Bailey and SeXXXy Eddy to retain the CZW World Jr. Heavyweight Title. Chris Sabin defeated "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush for the #1 contendership to the CZW Iron Man Title in an excellent match. Quackenbush more than kept up with Sabin as these two had a helluva match. Ruckus defeated Claudio Castagnoli to retain the CZW World Heavyweight Championship in another good match; with insane crowd heat. For whatever reason, the crowd got incredibly into this match for both wrestlers. Post match, "6 time ICW-ICWA Tex-Arkana Television Champion" Sweet & Sour Larry Sweeney came out to the ring to rant in his delusional style, claiming he was a "Christian conservative" and expressing his disgust for "Team Masturbation" (Excalibur and Beef Wellington). He challenged them for "Cage of Fun" along with Franky the Mobster. Chris Hero defeated Eddie Kingston in a brutal Last Man Standing match No blood...no gore. Just two wrestlers basically beating the shit out of each other. Hero won after three kicks to Kingston's groin. Post match, Blackout came out to make the save for Kingston, and deal with an unruly crowd member. Sabian took the mic and said that next month, they were coming to take back the tag belts from Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli. The H8 Club came out, starting a wild scene with a fan after their usual challenge to anyone in the crowd; which saw Justice Pain ejected from the arena after going into the crowd. After much running around and consternation among fans, CZW staff, and wrestlers... JC Bailey came out to replace Justice Pain during the bout. Shattered Dreams match (auto glass panels in each corner, crushed glass on the ring and on the floor surrounding the ring) Tough Crazy Bastards (Necrobutcher and Toby Klein) defeated Nick Gage and JC Bailey The major angle to set up Cage of Death then happened...Boy, did it happen. After the Shattered Dreams match, Zandig came into the ring with beers in hand to celebrate with Klein and Necrobutcher. Then, out of nowhere, Zandig flattened both Necrobutcher and Klein with a double clothesline, turning on the team. Justice Pain came back out fighting off CZW staffers, but Zandig pulled him back into the ring. Then....The H8 Club, along with Zandig and JC Bailey... beat down on Necrobutcher and Klein. Zandig then turned on Bailey and threw him out of the ring. In a full blast heel turn, Zandig yelled at the fans siding with H8 Club, and shooting on smart fans, Big Japan and others...also making clear that the fan thrown out had been a plant all along (thanking building manager Roger), saying Justice Pain "doesn't have to roll around in this stuff". . Then, on the stage, Joker stood, in full army fatigues, fresh from his tour of duty in Iraq. He hit the ring, and cleaned house. This set up the Cage of Death main event of Joker, Necrobutcher and Toby Klein against Zandig, Nick Gage and Justice Pain.
