So I couldn't wait until Thursday...
Fresh off the heels of last night's AEW Women's Eliminator Tournament finals and semifinals, I decided to release the women's brackets. I did, however, have to adjust the threshold for this tournament a little. Women still aren't booked as frequently as men, so the qualifiers to be in the field of 68 are as follows:
-Winning Percentage of 60% or higher
-At least 20 Wins (W-L % is void here)
-High 2021 Winning Percentage so far
Like the mens, holding a championship in a major promotion is a automatic bid, and this includes Joshi promotions such as Stardom, Tokyo Joshi Pro, and Ice Ribbon. This also includes Pro Wrestling Eve in the U.K., and Shimmer, Rise, and Shine Wrestling here in the states. As mentioned prior, this is based off of 2020 records, with the exception of a few 2021 records to help fill the field of 68. This is the reason why names like Becky Lynch and Kylie Rae are still added to this field.
