The TLC event is tonight. There are finally 7 matches announced for tonight I say finally because the only matches announced as of last week were Reigns/Corbin(yawn) and Wyatt/Miz. Miz is obviously losing. I can't ever see them putting the WWE Championship or Universal Championship on Miz. The Viking Raiders have issued an open challenge for the Raw tag team championships. I figure it will be accepted by the returning Uso's. Jimmy and Jey, if they are indeed returning, will probably win the tag titles tonight. They'll keep them until one winds up in jail again.
Aleister Black vs Buddy Murphy: I'm glad they're showcasing these guys. They could just as easily put both against their heavy hitters and get squashed. I see this being a competitive, entertaining match that Black wins.
The Kabuki Warriors will likely have the distinction of losing the Raw women's tag titles against CharLynch. It makes sense: they get Charlotte a title she's never worn and, in the process, make Lynch "Becky 2 Belts" again. Maybe they can resurrect the shirts.
Rusev and Lashley(one of the worst feuds of 2019) meet in a tables match. Maybe this one won't last long. I would hope this would mark the end of the feud. It probably won't. Lashley wins because Rusev can't have nice things.
New Day defending the Smackdown tag titles in a ladder match against The Revival should be a good one. Match of the Year candidate, perhaps. I can see the Revival winning here. I say they trade the titles back and forth between now and WrestleMania.
The fact that WWE has deemed that Reigns vs Corbin is worthy of a TLC match is ludicrous. I hope there isn't a can of Alpo hanging above the ring and the winner is the man who climbs the ladder and grabs the can. I'm not being racist. I'll let WWE keep doing that. They're doing a bang-up job so far. Obviously Reigns is winning here. I bet we get Reigns vs Wyatt for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.
Bray Wyatt vs Miz for the Universal Championship closes the show. Why isn't it The Fiend vs Miz? Also, why doesn't this match have a stipulation? There's a few TLC matches. There's a ladder match. There's a tables match. Shouldn't the Universal Championship be decided in a TLC match and not Reigns v Corbin-a match that has nothing on the line? But hey. I'm just a fan. Right?
I might catch it on the iPad after I get back from choir practice. The show I'm really more excited about is the Royal Rumble next month. Also, I wonder if Brock "Golden Boy" Lesnar is actually going to grace us with his presence this April? We shall see how it all unfolds.
