How long before this "new era" business in WWE turns into another "Vince's Corporation vs Stone Cold or vs Rock? I actually think the seeds were planted this past Tuesday on Smackdown Live when AJ laid out Vince. I'm not certain that what happened Tuesday means that Styles is turning heel, however. Did Austin turn heel? We fans still cheered him so no. This is also another perfect time to incorporate Gallows and Anderson. Team them with Styles to reform the Club.
I did not watch Raw Christmas Eve. I didn't even record it. I figured "what would I miss"? Turns out, I missed the announcement of the women's tag team championship. We didn't get any in-depth information but I do have a few thoughts. Imagine the teams: Bayley and Sasha, obviously, There has been talk of Naomi and Lana as a team. I'm very interested in seeing where this goes, as is the whole WWE Universe.
Impact Wrestling is moving again. They're moving to something called Pursuit. The show will be on Friday nights at 10 pm eastern. The ratings for part 2 of their "best of 2018" special last night drew 116,000 viewers. Pursuit is channel 393 on Dish and 604 on DirecTV. Will this be a good move for Impact? They've already aired on several networks.
I'll finish with my wrestling Christmas. I got Braun Stroman's new Monster Among Men long sleeve tee, an Adam Cole tee, Nasty Boys retro tee. I also got some WWE Network cards and a New Japan PS4 game. I hope everyone else had a great one as well. I'll be back next week. Hopefully we get some news on this women's tag team championship.
Shane and Miz are a tag team. This should be entertaining. It should also end in Miz vs Shane at WresleMania. I mean, it'd be great to see Miz win the Rumble and get the WWE Championship. We shall see what the new year brings. Hopefully we get some compelling stuff in 2019.
