Dolph and Drew winning the Raw tag team titles was a great move! Not a knock on the B Team. You have to capitalize on the hot team of the moment, though. At this moment, that's Dolph and Drew. The Shield got their....handed to them. Kevin Owens showed up one week after he "quit". I thought the Owens thing was leading somewhere interesting. I suppose it still can. I just think showing up one week after you "quit" is a little shoddy from a creative standpoint.
We're clearly heading towards another Undertaker/Shawn Michaels match. I'd ask why but, c'mon....$$$$$ I figure HBK shows up perhaps and helps Triple H beat Undertaker, which will lead to the eventual 'Taker/HBK clash at WrestleMania 35. That's not too far-fetched, is it?
I love the Roode/Gable pairing. I hope to see more of it. Does the aforementioned Kevin Owens returning to attack Bobby Lashley mean we're headed for a Lashley/Owens feud? I suppose. I don't particularly want that but whatever...
The Bryan and Brie vs Miz and Maryse feud began and ended Smackdown. That's an "A" for continuity for the blue brand. It looks like Asuka and Naomi could be one heck of a pairing. We have to get women's tag titles at some point, right? I mean, look at the possibilities on both shows. Joe and Styles for the WWE Championship deserves to be inside hell in a cell. If not that, at least a no holds barred match. Since there's already two matches inside the cell, would they dare do three? Final WWE thought; do we get New Day vs Rusev Day for the tag titles at HIAC? I hope so. No knock on The Bar but I'd like to see a fresh match. I still think Rusev and Aiden back on the same page is smoke and mirrors. Time will tell.
I'm really glad that Impact Wrestling has decided to finally give us the payoff to Katarina-Grado-Joe Hendry. I swear, that angle was reaching Aces & 8's. It was a twist that Joe rebuffed Katarina. Was that a swerve? Are they just going to screw with Grado some more? This is all very Guiding Light, Young and the Restless-ish. Final segment of Impact: Did anyone else notice Moose was dressed a little like Virgil when he backed up The Million Dollar Man? They did give us Bound For Glory's main event: Johnny Impact challenging, and probably losing to, Austin Aries.
I think All In pretty much overshadowed most things for those who were able to see it. Unfortunately, I wasn't among that group. At any rate, wrestling all around is pretty sweet right now. If Raw and Smackdown isn't your bag, you have all kinds of options. In what other era could you say that?
