Dane Quinn- Wrestlemania Predictions
Submitted by Dane Quinn on 04/04/2018 at 12:38 PM

The Superdome in New Orleans will be rocking on Sunday. The 7 hour extravaganza will feature one of the greatest cards in WrestleMania history. It's always fun to predict the outcome of each match, so here we go!

WWE WrestleMania (Kickoff Show)

WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal

The Women's Battle Royal consists of all the women who aren't in high profile matches at WrestleMania. The top stars in this match are Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. Every time I say that Becky Lynch deserves to win, she comes up short. You won't catch me picking Lynch to win a match anymore. I believe that Bayley will win, which will cause Sasha to become jealous and turn heel. I know they battled on Raw a million times, but this will be a great chance to give them a legitimate feud.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

When this match first occurred, I was very intrigued with the idea of winning a trophy. It felt like old time wrestling. However, the winners of the match haven't exactly excelled. We can only hope that Dolph Ziggler changes the narrative when he takes the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy home.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Cedric Alexander v. Mustafa Ali

I will not lie. I have never sat down and watched an episode of "205 Live". The only two things I know about the Cruiserweight division is that Neville pulled a CM Punk and Enzo was fired. I really enjoy watching Mustafa Ali's matches when he appears on Raw. He should become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

WWE WrestleMania

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship

The Usos v. The New Day v. The Bludgeon Brothers

The Usos and The New Day have been battling for the top spot of the tag team division for over a year. I know they put on very good matches, but I have become fatigued of watching them. The WWE has added The Bludgeon Brothers to the match to spice it up. The Bludgeon Brothers have been rolling since they removed themselves from Bray Wyatt. I don't believe they are ready to be the kings of the tag team division. I expect The Usos to retain with a pinfall win over Big E, Xavier Woods, or Kofi Kingston.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

The Bar v. Braun Strowman & ???

The WWE put the RAW tag team division on life support when Braun won a battle royal to become the No. 1 contender to The Bar's Tag Team Championship. It would be comical for Strowman to walk out of WrestleMania with both belts, but they can't do that. Can they? I think the safe bet would be Strowman acquiring the services of The Big Show and becoming the new champions. It's WrestleMania, so what the hell? How does Strowman and Rey Mysterio as the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions sound? I think it sounds pretty good.

Fatal Four Way Match for the WWE United States Championship

Randy Orton v. Bobby Roode v. Jinder Mahal v. Rusev

I am new to NODQ.com. Unless you follow me on twitter @danequinn, you wouldn't know that I am the biggest Rusev fan on earth. If I were the "bookerman", as Brian Pillman would say, Rusev would be added to the Reigns/Lesnar match. With that being said, I expect Randy Orton to retain the WWE United States Championship, as the crowd chants "Rusev Day!"

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

I'm really excited for this match. The Miz is awesome on the mic. Yes, the pun was intended. Finn Balor and Seth Rollins are two of the best wrestlers in the WWE. I understand it's a triple threat match, but I believe that The Miz will capitalize on a Balor and Rollins dispute to inch closer to becoming the greatest WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time.

WWE Raw Women's Championship

Alexa Bliss v. Nia Jax

History repeats itself. Alexa Bliss has been using and verbally abusing Nia Jax for weeks. As Mr. McMahon would say, there will be no chance in hell that Alexa Bliss retains the Raw Women's Championship. Look for Nia Jax to dominate her former friend, Alexa Bliss like Chyna did to Ivory at WrestleMania X-7.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

Charlotte v. Auska

Unless you have a mouthpiece, I have never been a fan of superstars that struggle on microphone. I know they are good in the ring, but superstars like Auska and Nakamura never do anything for me. I don't make the matches, so I predict that the undefeated, Auska tops Charlotte to become the new WWE Smackdown Women's Champion.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon v. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens

Everyone is excited about Daniel Bryan's pending return to the ring. The WWE is better when Daniel Bryan is allowed to compete. It felt like WWE was booking themselves into a corner with this angle. I truly didn't expect Bryan to be cleared by WWE doctors. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's careers are on the line, so they will win the match. I don't think Daniel Bryan will turn heel, but the loss will plant the seed of a possible Shane/Bryan match at Summerslam.

Mixed Tag Team Match

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey v. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon

I know Ronda Rousey is new to the WWE, but she has been awful on the microphone during this feud. If you don't think it's bothering her, think again. Check out her interview with Mike Golic of "Golic & Wingo" on ESPN Radio. WWE invested a lot of money into Rousey, so she will win. It's obvious that Angle will make Triple H tap with the ankle lock and Rousey will make Stephanie quit with her vicious arm bar.

John Cena v. The Undertaker

In my opinion, the idea of this matchup lost all its luster the last time WrestleMania was in New Orleans. Once the streak ended, The Undertaker's matches at WrestleMania seemed pointless.

This match isn't official, but I fully expect it to happen. John Cena doesn't need a big win. After last year's loss, The Undertaker needs to come up big on Sunday. I expect The Deadman to have his hand raised when this match is over.

WWE Championship

AJ Styles v. Shinsuke Nakamura

The WWE is building this as a "Dream Match". Trust me, this isn't a match that I have been dreaming about. I don't get the whole Nakamura thing. I know he's a great wrestler, but his overall persona doesn't do it for me. AJ Styles is better. It may be an unpopular choice, but I believe AJ Styles will leave New Orleans the same way he arrived, as the WWE Champion.

WWE Universal Championship

Brock Lesnar v. Roman Reigns

Finally, the WWE is getting what they want. It's been over three years, but they are finally getting a one on one match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

Unlike the majority of the WWE Universe, I like Roman Reigns. However, I don't know why WWE does everything in their power to get the fans to cheer for The Big Dog. I feel the same way I did before WrestleMania 31. I am not excited about this contest.

Where is Seth Rollins when you need him? This match will go on despite the loud boos. Roman Reigns will conquer the man who conquered The Undertaker's streak in New Orleans and become the new WWE Universal Championship.

I hope everyone enjoys WrestleMania on Sunday. If my predictions are wrong or you disagree, you know where to find me. Twitter- @danequinn
