Jay's Ways - WWE Has A Big Problem Coming Soon Submitted by Justin Watry on 03/24/2018 at 11:42 PM
“I have been reading your stuff on 411mania and nodq.com for the longest time now and I have never felt inclined to email in. The general consensus of you not being most popular is harsh at times but also can be well-founded too. But I still read your stuff because I do enjoy your articles and find your perspective interesting most of the time.
That said, your article about your friend Megan and trip to Wrestlemania was the greatest thing you have ever wrote. Forget about the predictions you brag about getting right. This is your crowning piece. Maybe it is because I can relate as going to Wrestlemania is my ultimate dream and it will be happening next year. But I genuinely loved your article.
Thank you for the great stuff.”

If you don't follow college basketball, skip the next paragraph.
Is your bracket busted yet? My is. I don't have a ton of thoughts on the tournament thus far, besides the 16 over 1 upset being more of an 'inevitability' than a shocker. The fact of the matter is it was bound to happen eventually. Whether it be this year, next year, or in 50 years. In fact, my brother and I had lunch last Thursday and spoke of this very topic. Sure enough, it happened hours later. Same with the Browns eventually beating the Patriots - it WILL happen. Not 99.99999% of the time mind you...but at some point, yeah. Other than that, usual fun ans surprises of the tourney are great. Just wish Wisconsin actually made the big dance.
JAM PACKED 411MANIA COLUMN!
On Tuesday night, I posted a column on 411mania.com covering the following: Daniel Bryan returning to the ring, Fabulous Moolah's battle royal at WrestleMania 34, Ronda Rousey proving critics wrong, and my Ultimate Deletion review! Seriously, it was a loaded column for sure. Lots of good stuff in there. Head on over to 411mania for all of that.
To further my point about Ronda Rousey, how awesome was that sit down interview with her on RAW Monday night? Awesome work as usual from the WWE behind the scenes crew. It hit all the right notes and was the highlight of the show for me. Raw had a bunch of memorable moments. However, she stole the show without doing anything but being herself. I write all about that on BodySlam.net - the column has yet to be posted but should be soon...
Here is my main point of discussion today - WWE has a big problem on their hands. Technically, it is a GOOD problem to have but should play out after WrestleMania 34. Hopefully something that benefits all involved.
What am I talking about?
WWE has a lot of main eventers on their roster right now.
Normally, that would be amazing except that pay-per-view events are soon to be co-branded.
You tell me how Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, The Miz, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are going to ALL be featured.
That is not even counting guys like Kurt Angle, Triple H, Kane, Big Show, Brock Lesnar, or John Cena who will be wrestling part-time every few months or even the potential comebacks of Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and/or Batista.
Then you add in Jeff Hardy, Dean Ambrose, Samoa Joe, and Big Cass returning from injury.
THEN you add in Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, Elias, Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, The Revival, The Usos, New Day, Jason Jordan, Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, The Club, The Bar, and countless others looking for television time.
Oh, and THENNNNNNNNN there is the entire women's division. On both brands...
...and if all of that is not enough, you have to factor in Ronda Rousey who will surely be a prominent star after Mania.
See what I mean now? I don't even want to think about NXT callups or added signings right now. Geez! Not even the greatest fantasy bookers in the world on the internet can solve this riddle. There is going to have to be a dramatic shift in how WWE presents PPVs or something drastic. Like I said - a big problem but a good problem at that.
