"I have been reading your stuff on 411mania and nodq.com for the longest time now and I have never felt inclined to email in. The general consensus of you not being most popular is harsh at times but also can be well-founded too. But I still read your stuff because I do enjoy your articles and find your perspective interesting most of the time.

That said, your article about your friend Megan and trip to Wrestlemania was the greatest thing you have ever wrote. Forget about the predictions you brag about getting right. This is your crowning piece. Maybe it is because I can relate as going to Wrestlemania is my ultimate dream and it will be happening next year. But I genuinely loved your article.

Thank you for the great stuff."

411mania.com Plug

I have a couple columns already posted on 411mania.com from the past two weeks and will add another by Wednesday. A little holiday spirit for everybody to enjoy. Be on the lookout. Exclusively on 411!

Straight To The Source

Pretty good. Roman Reigns was the perfect first guest. Some new information being revealed, some already known. Not a whole heck of a lot to take away from the entire thing. I think 15 minutes is fair. No use in being too long (or short). Renee Young and JBL both had their interview style shows canceled from WWE Network; hopefully this does better in viewership. Seems cheap to produce and anything with Corey Graves is usually entertaining. Oh, his previous interview style shows...also canned. Nice.

Impact Wrestling News

Let's just do a quick recap of all the BS that recently dropped:

- Laurel reportedly requests her release. I won't give away any spoilers, but I will say the tapings were quite interesting. My guess is she sticks around until January for their next batch of shows, and then she exits in a more fitting way. The pro wrestling way. If you know what I mean...

- New regime takes over. Don't know much about Don Callis or Scott D'Amore. Obviously, I know the names. Other than that, it is just two more guys who will supposedly SAVE IMPACT!!!!! We will see. Been through this song and dance many times. Always ends the same.

- BIG John Gaburick and Dutch Mantell likely leaving at the end of the year is not really news. Both were Jeff Jarrett guys and like Jim Cornette, that mini-era appears to be over. No use keeping them around with the way politics shook out last month.

- Nashville offices have closed. The company is doing more and more in Canada. Hence the Callis and D'Amore moves. Also hence the next bit of news...

- More talent expected to be departing soon, likely the ones under higher paying contracts. Yep, the Hardyz, Mike and Maria Kanellis, and Drew McIntyre were just the beginning of 2017 exits. James Storm was added to that list, as well as many others. All were probably getting paid a hefty fee. The next few with expiring deals are EC3, Bobby Lashley, and Eddie Edwards. My guess is one stays, while one is a toss up, and yeah, I think one is 100% gone. You can figure out who I am referring to in each category. Not bringing any trouble my way folks.

Jim & Andy

Not necessarily related to wrestling but the new Jim And Andy documentary on Netflix is fascinating. I believe I wrote a mini-review last week, so I will just repeat it - go find this and watch it. If you don't know, it is about Jim Carrey playing the role of Andy Kaufman in the 1999 movie Man on the Moon. Awesome behind the scenes look at both guys and such a cool flick. Definitely a lot of parallels to WWE and has a lot of stuff from Jerry Lawler too.

Glitch Season 2

I said Glitch season one was better than Stranger Things season one. I stand by that.

Fast forward with both shows now having a second season, and it is not much of a contest.

Stranger Things season two was better than Glitch season two.

Both on Netflix. Good luck!

Quick WWE Raw Thoughts

- As many predicted from the get go, the whole Jason Jordan deal is heading towards him being a heel. I thought so from day one. Been a suuuuuper slow build; we are almost there. I am fine with it.

- Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns is a nice feud from now until Royal Rumble 2018. The IC Title is kinda irrelevant in this all, sorry to say.

- I really thought The Shield were going to win the tag titles at the end of RAW. Didn't think that last but as the show progressed, it felt like a "moment" was about to happen. Didn't happen. Oh well. Kinda weird that Reigns was the one to unintentionally distract Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Huh, The Shield done already?

- Asuka continues to be a beast. Absolution continues to look strong. Alexa Bliss still ducking challengers. All positive things.

- Braun Strowman and Kane keep fighting? Eh, okay. No issues but am ready to move on from their battles. One more gimmick bout on an early January 2018 episode of RAW is probably the end game.

- I loved Elias on Monday night. Exactly why people shouldn't judge NXT call ups based on how much time they spent in Orlando. Some spend a lot of time there, some only a short amount. Some not at all. Everybody's path is different. Elias is fitting in nicely on Raw.

- Biggest headline of the night was the verbal duel between Bray Wyatt and WOKEN Matt Hardy. Not going to rehash my thoughts on the BROKEN/Impact gimmick again, so I will say this: Matt Hardy had a very good showing. I don't think the debut of the new gimmick could have gone any better. Hats off to Matt and his continued fight against Anthem for the trademark junk. Love it or hate it, he has stuck by his creation. Had to be a cool moment for him personally. Interested in seeing how far WWE takes it now.
