"I have been reading your stuff on 411mania and nodq.com for the longest time now and I have never felt inclined to email in. The general consensus of you not being most popular is harsh at times but also can be well-founded too. But I still read your stuff because I do enjoy your articles and find your perspective interesting most of the time.

That said, your article about your friend Megan and trip to Wrestlemania was the greatest thing you have ever wrote. Forget about the predictions you brag about getting right. This is your crowning piece. Maybe it is because I can relate as going to Wrestlemania is my ultimate dream and it will be happening next year. But I genuinely loved your article.
Thank you for the great stuff."

New 411mania.com Column
Last week was my FULL WWE Survivor Series 2017 review. Plus, I participated in Wrestling Fact Or Fiction. That is always fun.
This week was yet another edition of Wrestling Fact Or Fiction AND another column set to be posted in the next day or two. Be on the look out for that. Very interesting topic that is rarely discussed. Head on over to 411mania for that.
Then next week is my month Q&A where I reply to the comment section. I do that only once a month, so if you have a comment or question, now is the time to give feedback. Now! Response next week...only on 411mania...
Black Friday is kinda 'meh' to me. I don't care for the driving, rushing around, and pure stress dealing with a rabid crowd going after cheap television sets and ridiculous store deals. The Thanksgiving holiday should be about family, food, friends, and football. Not trampling people for the latest gadget and wasting money.
That being said, Cyber Monday is something I do. Not big or anything. If I spend even $50 in any given shopping trip, I begin to feel uneasy. Pretty frugal guy and am more than happy in keeping a fat bank account versus buying, buying, buying. Heck, my cell phone bill is $35 a month and cost me $50 two years ago. Even THAT is pricey in my mind. It is not that I don't have money, it is just that I don't want to spend it. For those remember, it took a great deal for me to go to WrestleMania 33 in Orlando...and that was paid for by my week's paid vacation from work and slightly dipping into my tax return from weeks earlier.
Long story short, I made my way over to WWEShop on Monday and made a few purchases. Truth be told, I really do not buy much wrestling gear anymore. The last time I was even on WWEShop was months ago when I bought a Sting mug for a buddy. It was a gift for someone else. This time though, the deals were too good to pass up. Cyber Monday had 75% off select items, with another 25% off with a promo code, and then it was free shipping if you spent over $15 at checkout. Like the cheap SOB that I am, I totaled it perfectly over that amount, received free shipping and success!
If anybody can guess even ONE item I bought, I will reveal my haul. Good luck!
Paying attention to WWE stock? I know I am always keeping a close watch. Been increasing for months on end. If you follow me on Twitter, you will be well aware of the uptick. Went from a $1.5 billion market cap earlier in 2017 to $1.8 billion in the summer to now $2.17 billion. Not sure how much higher it can go. Either way, impressive.
How is TNA doing these days? Haven't watched a single episode all year (I think) or even bothered with their Youtube clips in months. Let me roll through the headlines. Okay, budget cuts. Nothing new there. Talent leaving. Nothing new there. Oh, viewership numbers? Yeah, let me click that.
Last Thursday brought in 169,000 viewers.
Shockingly enough, that is actually an INCREASE from last year's Thanksgiving episode. You know, the BROKEN Hardy recap show. More on that later.
Save me the holiday/cable dispute excuses. On Spike TV, TNA regularly brought in over 1,000,000 viewers on Thanksgiving. Taped. Holiday. Thursday. No, losing 90% of your audience is not due to a few people losing coverage on DISH, and it certainly is not because of the holiday. As I just noted, they had no problem getting over a million viewers on Thanksgiving in the past. Where do those 900,000 viewers go? Not to POP TV, that's for sure.
Okay, the rush of movies in the theaters has come to an end. Well, until Star Wars The Last Jedi in two weeks! Oh baby, have you seen the latest trailer? Wow. This thing is going to be amazing.
I enjoyed Jigsaw. I liked Thor. I REALLY liked Murder on the Orient Express. That left Justice League and...it was fine. The bad reviews are garbage. The movie was good. Don't listen to the usual 'DC Hate' that is often spewed. Was this as fun as Marvel flicks? No, it was not. However, that does not take away from the two hours. I'd say see the movie for yourself. You just might have a super time watching.
My reaction to the BROKEN stuff on Raw was the same as the live crowd in Tennessee...
I didn't care last year, and I don't care this year. Way too much time and momentum has been lost. Whatever 'buzz' there was earlier in 2017 has been obsolete for a long time now. Feels desperate and a dead end to try and revive it. Really, the sad truth is Matt Hardy NEEDS the gimmick or else he is just a guy losing each week to Bray Wyatt and Elias. Jeff Hardy does not; that guy is an instant top star the second he returns. It is no wonder why Matt has been fighting for the trademark for so long. He has to stay relevant somehow. His brother Nero is a main eventer at the drop of a hat. Matt? Well, um, he is Matt Hardy.
For the sake of his career and bank account, I hope the BROKEN thing works out for him. I really do. If it becomes popular and makes him (and WWE) a bunch of money, that'd be wonderful! I just tend to stay on the reality side of things, not the fantasy. Not a good start on Monday. We'll see if it improves going forward. If not, hey, Jeff is due back in early 2018!
Podcast Debut? - Announcement coming soon. Before 2017 is up, it's happening!
The return of NRW is officially over 1,800 views online. Months ago, when this all began, my target was hitting one thousand. After barely a week, we crossed that mark. The match is posted below. Well worth the 15 minutes!
