"I have been reading your stuff on 411mania and nodq.com for the longest time now and I have never felt inclined to email in. The general consensus of you not being most popular is harsh at times but also can be well-founded too. But I still read your stuff because I do enjoy your articles and find your perspective interesting most of the time.

That said, your article about your friend Megan and trip to Wrestlemnaia was the greatest thing you have ever wrote. Forget about the predictions you brag about getting right. This is your crowning piece. Maybe it is because I can relate as going to Wrestlemania is my ultimate dream and it will be happening next year. But I genuinely loved your article.
Thank you for the great stuff."

James Ellsworth Released
There was talk a few weeks ago that his one year deal was going to be the end of his run, so the actual news dropping on Wednesday afternoon was not that shocking. Anybody with any common had to have suspected such a thing after seeing how he lost to Becky Lynch on television and then spent the entire UK tour getting beat up by the entire women's roster night after night.
Basically, his time was up, and WWE was just letting the clown get his comeuppances. Fair of the heel to eat his words and take a beating from all the faces he wronged. Simple, easy write off for a character.
Ultimately, the dude's 15 minutes of fame were up. I didn't "get it" when Braun Strowman crushed him in 30 seconds. Heck, I didn't even blink or remember the guy's name after the segment. Didn't stand out in ANY way at all. Just the usual local talent to get stomped.
I didn't "get it" when he showed up on Smackdown LIVE months later and was suddenly in a big spot.
I didn't "get it" when he was hanging around Dean Ambrose and taking his act down to the mid-card. That sure did him wonders, huh? Ended up on the WrestleMania 34 Kickoff Show months later.
I didn't "get it" when he was getting WWE Title matches and actually getting a win over AJ FREAKIN' STYLES! That really was fun. Not.
I especially didn't "get it" when somebody had the bright idea of having him ruin the first ever Womens Money In The Bank ladder match. Kayfabe or not, heel or not, it was a joke.
Then he became a lapdog for Carmella and walked around with a chair around his heck. Yeah, with WWE wanting to cut costs, take a guess at who gets shown the door first!
Negative feelings aside, it is not use kicking the man while he is down. My guess is he knew he was extremely fortunate to be in the spot he was and probably had an inkling this one year contract was going to be it for him. Twelve months and done. The man soaked it all up, lived out a dream, made a bunch of money and can forever tell a million tales of his life as a WWE Superstar. He definitely was not my cup of tea, but you have to love the story it represents.
Any man with two hands...
Three big highlights from WWE Smackdown LIVE worth mentioning quickly:
1. Daniel Bryan had a heck of a night. Instead of new WWE Champion AJ Styles cutting a promo on Brock Lesnar, it was Daniel Bryan who did most of the talking. That had to have felt a little strange for him. Imagine in his own mind hyping up a battle against Brock - a match he has always wanted. Well, AJ gets that this Sunday. Not you Daniel. Sorry. However, Bryan had one more thing to do later on. He left the show early and had ominous words for Shane McMahon concerning their futures running the show. Ouch! Even worse, he left Shane high and dry to take a beating from RAW. Double ouch.
2. Speaking of Raw invading, I figured their big retaliation would come five days before Survivor Series. That was my prediction ever since the initial #UnderSeige moment. Wait until the final show before the pay-per-view and then pounce! I believe it worked out well. WWE ended their hype on a high note, and now the show is just days away. Perfect timing.
3. Lastly, Charlotte is the new Smackdown LIVE Womens Champion. She defeated Natalya in her hometown and even celebrated with her father, Ric Flair. So much for the conspiracy theory of faces always losing in their hometown. Gotta love that BS. Regardless, loved the moment for her and Ric. I don't think the title change was due to Ric's health or his ESPN 30 For 30 special getting so much publicity. I simply think (like Jinder Mahal) it was time for a change. Sorry Nattie but your title run was unmemorable and went nowhere. No doubt Charlotte should be champ. Just like AJ Styles. Smackdown LIVE is just correcting their mistakes from months ago. Good stuff.

Podcast Co-Host? - The offer is still out there. Sometime in November, I want to partner up with somebody and record my first podcast ever. Before 2017 is up, that has been the goal. Anybody out there interested can email or tweet me.
The return of NRW is officially over 1,700 views online. Months ago, when this all began, my target was hitting one thousand. After barely a week, we crossed that mark. The match is posted below. Well worth the 15 minutes!
