"I have been reading your stuff on 411mania and nodq.com for the longest time now and I have never felt inclined to email in. The general consensus of you not being most popular is harsh at times but also can be well-founded too. But I still read your stuff because I do enjoy your articles and find your perspective interesting most of the time.

That said, your article about your friend Megan and trip to Wrestlemnaia was the greatest thing you have ever wrote. Forget about the predictions you brag about getting right. This is your crowning piece. Maybe it is because I can relate as going to Wrestlemania is my ultimate dream and it will be happening next year. But I genuinely loved your article.
Thank you for the great stuff."

WWE Summerslam 2017 Review
I posted FOUR separate columns on 411mania during the past week. My latest was a review of WWE Summerslam 2017 from this past Sunday night. I talk about every single match and result. It was a jam packed six hours, so there is plenty of material to read. Go to 411mania and read!
Mae Young Classic
Last year, I predicted every single match of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament when it started SPOILER FREE and somehow got three of the final four participants correct. The only person I missed...TJ Perkins. Ha! Funny. Anyways, I will be doing the same thing for the Mae Young Classic next week on 411mania. Predict the entire bracket SPOILER FREE! Stay tuned for that. Should be fun...
Email from Franck: Was reading your Battleground review and had an idea about the when Carmella cashes in. It would fit Ellsworth's gimmick of an overconfident jerk. Have him comeback to help Carmella succesfully cashing in her money in the Bank contract. But Daniel Bryan comes out and tells James that he came back one day too soon(maybe he counted the day he was suspended as the first day of his suspension, or his fine isn't completly paid). So Carmella victory doesn't count and she loses her Money in th Bank briefcase because of James' intervention.
Then either have James fired because he violated the terms, thus ending his run in WWE and because the women's division has an equal number of faces (Naomi, Charlotte, Becky) and heels(Lana, Tamina, Natalya), maybe turn Carmella face Nataly as the women champ or keep her heel and either have her chase the titlte after Summerslam against Naomi or add her to the title match at Summerslam as a consolation price.
What's your take on that?
My take on that is Asuka needs to join the blue brand and just destroy the entire roster and build to high profile pay-per-view showdowns with Becky Lynch first, then Charlotte, and then if possible - Ronda Rousey. Carmella with the Money in the Bank briefcase, Natalya winning the title for some unknown reason at Summerslam and James Ellsworthless are at the bottom of my 'to care about' list right now. Sorry.
For those that don't know, Asuka relinquished the NXT Womens Title a few days ago at the new tapings. This is NOT a spoiler because WWE acknowledged the news and has openly discussed it.
While this may have shocked a lot of folks, the truth is this just happened three years ago. Paige left NXT for the main roster without ever being defeated for the belt. Rather than send her packing the traditional way, the company simply opted to keep her strong and have momentum for her RAW debut - which of course included winning the Divas Title from AJ Lee.
No, I don't think Asuka will immediately debut and get the championship on her first. However, the same thought process applies here. WWE clearly sees value in the undefeated streak and rather than give Asuka a minor hit before going to Raw or Smackdown LIVE, they have decided to keep it in tact. There are reports of an injury for her, but I have my doubts on the severity of it - much less if that played a role in her impending NXT departure. If they really wanted to, they could have worked around it. Obviously, this was the chosen path for a reason.
I am glad that WWE has put forth effort into protecting this unbeaten streak. I said as such in my NXT Takeover Brooklyn III review pretty strongly. When you have something of value, you don't waste it. You hype it up to the high heavens, promote it repeatedly and let the world know of its' importance.
Asuka losing her first match should absolutely be treated as a big deal when it happens.
On the flip side, I am a tad bit disappointed that did not occur in NXT but will instead happen in WWE down the road. Ember Moon deserved that extra boost to her resume for the entire division. Heck, the Mae Young Classic winner (whoever it is) would have benefited a bunch from that accolade to start out in NXT. It would have sent the new era off and running. With Asuka leaving though, it is a pretty abysmal state for the women in NXT. She wiped the floor with everybody, and the ONE person she shouldn't beat fairly...well, she just beat her too and is now leaving.
Good luck to rebuilding the women's division in NXT. No Sasha Banks. No Asuka. No Becky Lynch. No Bayley. No Emma. No Charlotte. Billie Kay and PeytonRoyce rumored for a call up soon, with Liv Morgan also a possibility. Wow. They better sign a lot of these girls in the Mae Young Classic...
...or maybe Ronda Rousey heads to NXT when she eventually signs? Naaaah.
For the record, I am picking Floyd Mayweather tonight. I always pick him and until proven wrong, he is the prediction. Minus a shocking upset and fast knockout that floors everybody, this will go 12 rounds and be an easy unanimous decision. Cash those checks; the publicity stunt will pay off big time. Right to the bank.
More big main events given away on free television, more viewers tuning in. Whatever WWE is doing right now is working. Of course, you can assume with the Fall season right around the corner those numbers will drop. Still, it does feel like there is added interest in the product currently. That is good.
If you want MY personal thoughts on the show, you have to be following me on Twitter folks. Always a fun time. Find me there.
The return of NRW is officially over 1,500 views online. Months ago, when this all began, my target was hitting one thousand. After barely a week, we have already crossed that mark. Pleased with the result obviously but mildly disappointed because many did say they would post/share it and haven't. Those with a much larger reach did not hold up their end of the bargain unfortunately. Kinda sucks they backed out but still, positive thoughts baby! I hit the 1,000 view target I set out for myself, and that is what is most important. The match is posted below. Well worth the 15 minutes!
I went to Orlando, Florida for my first ever WrestleMania earlier in the year. I participated in the return of NRW a few weeks ago. Next up for my epic 2017:
