- Sportsbusinessdaily.com is reporting that NBC plans to shut down the NBC Sports Network by the end of the year. This would likely lead to sports programming such as the NHL and NASCAR being moved to the USA Network.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that the move "could lead to pre-emptions of NXT a lot, especially during the playoffs" and even WWE RAW could possibly be affected.

If this move leads to NXT changing nights, the models people have regarding time frame of AEW beating Raw IF THINGS GO AS THEY DID THE LAST 12 MONTHS moves up. USA had tried to protect its investment but this changes that game because of the real world.
